Over 25 private and public schools in Sussex County participate in this exhibition, which offers these young artists the opportunity to experience what it is like having their art in a gallery. A self-taught artist who uses acrylic as his medium and waterfowls as his subject, Clifton’s work has been chosen for over 40 duck stamps, both in the US and internationally.

Wetlands and Waterways - a Photographic Exhibition curated by Terry Plowman
Tubbs Gallery
Terry Plowman is the founder, editor and publisher of Delaware Beach Life, a magazine focused on coastal Delaware's culture and lifestyle. A longtime resident of coastal Delaware, Plowman launched Delaware Beach Life in June 2002, now about to enter its 15th year of publication. Delaware Beach Life has won more than 100 awards for writing, editing, photography and design.

Taking Pencil to a Higher Level - Paul Treadway
Ventures Gallery
A self-described “extreme realist”, Paul Treadway is a wildlife artist whose work is created in black and white using graphite pencil. He also creates in color pencil and pastel and is the illustrator of the children’s book Frisbee’s Adventures, by Diana Woltereck. Scheduled book readings for children will be announced.

Open to all artists living in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C., this exhibition represents a strong collection of works by master-level fine artists and artisans.

Juror and Awards Judge: George Ciscle has mounted groundbreaking exhibitions, developed community arts programs, and taught courses in the fine arts and humanities for 45 years. He is Curator-in-Residence at MICA where he created the Exhibition Development Seminar and served as Director of the MFA in Curatorial Practice for the past five years. He was also the founding director of The Contemporary Museum in Baltimore.

Inspired by her travels, this exhibition showcases plein air paintings of beaches (including the Rehoboth-Lewes area), boats, cafes and restaurants (near or by the water).

Vistas: Balancing Imagination and Reality - Carol Carpenter
Mystified by the ever changing elements in nature, Carol Carpenter’s focus for this exhibition is “balancing imagination and reality”. She presents the essence of land, sea, and botanical forms transitioning between abstract and representational images.

Call of the Mermaids- Eileen Olson
In this exhibition Olson uses the inspiration of the ocean to explore colors and organic shapes. Her abstract works become a visual metaphor of the magic of the sea.
