Join
fellow artists for an exciting
weekend of painting “en plein
air” at the beach. This two-day
workshop
will
begin
with
a
morning
of
classroom
instruction indoors, then
move outdoors to the beautiful
beaches
and
streets
of Rehoboth. (Weather permitting.
If
weather is poor, we will continue
working in studio). Instruction
will
focus
on
the
key
elements
of
composition
and students are invited
to
look
for
the
abstract
shapes
in
the
landscape
and
how they interconnect. Denise
Dumont
is
an
award-winning
representational
painter whose work is
held
in
collections
across
the
country.

He offers guidelines which

day includes presentation

making pots that aren’t
round. The main focus
of hand-building with the
Parmentiers is using the
extruder and slab roller
as the primary forming
tool. The students will
learn how to design and
build their own vases,
boxes, bowls and baskets.

in using the Parmentiers
